Datawatch Systems have taken reasonable steps to ensure the confidentiality of information taken at this website and transmitted via the Internet. Datawatch Systems uses Secure Socket Layer (SSL) technology for password protection. During an SSL session, data passed back and forth between your computer and the Datawatch Systems online card server is secured by using the password protection and public-key cryptography. Password identification only is secured by SSL technology. Your computer exchanges key information with Datawatch Systems’ computers to create a private conversation that only your computer and Datawatch Systems system can understand. However, unexpected changes in technology may be used by unauthorized third parties to intercept confidential information and we cannot be responsible should confidential information be intercepted and subsequently used by an unintended recipient. Each party acknowledges that, by reason of its relationship to the other party hereunder, they will have access to certain information and materials concerning the other’s business, plans, technology, products, and services that are confidential and of substantial value, which would be impaired if such information were disclosed to third parties (“Confidential Information”). Choice of Law:
All website activity or use and these Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of the United States of America and the laws of the State of Maryland, without regard to conflict of law principles.
Website Content and Material:
The information and materials contained in the Datawatch Systems website, including but not limited to these Terms and Conditions and any product information, are subject to change without notice. Access to Secured Areas:
Access to and use of password-protected and/or secure areas of this website is restricted to authorized users only. Unauthorized persons attempting to access these areas of the website may be subject to prosecution. The customer will have complete responsibility for whoever is chosen to maintain their individual database.
Location Data:
Android mobile applications require location permission to be able to scan and connect to Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE) devices (in the case of the Mobile Access app, these devices would be BLE locks). The reason it uses location permission is that it would be trivial to know where a user is, based on the BLE devices their phone sees during a scan. Likewise, we ask for the background location permission, so that we can scan and connect to BLE locks while the app is not in the foreground.

These Terms and Conditions were last updated on July 22, 2021. Please check periodically for changes.
